Living Life in a Fish Bowl!

Gloria’s take on life.

it’s raining – splish splash

It rained and rained today.  This means one thing — lots and lots of puddles.   I love a nice gentle rain.  I even enjoy a down pour -if it is warm – and I have dry clothes to change into.

When the boys were young, one of my  favorite pastimes was puddle splashing or finding the biggest puddles to ride our bikes through.     I loved it and you know the boys loved it.

So tonight I ask Curt about going for a walk in the rain.  We grab our umbrellas and a way we go.  It is a very light drizzle.  It is really a beautiful night.

Please notice the moon.  Only in the dark of night would my conservative, mostly serious, dignified husband be found splashing in puddles.  🙂

He posed for the pictures because he knew how much I would love it.  What a great guy!!!

There wasn’t much that was dry on me.  For someone who certainly doesn’t have much practice at puddle splashing, he was mighty good at it.  His competitive nature took over.

The Bible states that laughter is good medicine.  Yes it is!!!!  What a great way to wrap up a night.

 Happy Birthday baby!!!

  2. For the record; you asked me to go for a walk, then once we were out, the puddle splashing began:)
