Living Life in a Fish Bowl!

Gloria’s take on life.

tears are a language God understands

“When you’re up against a struggle that shatters all your dreams and your hopes have been cruelly crushed by Satan’s manifested schemes, and you feel the urge within you to submit to earthly fear, don’t let the faith your standing in seem to disappear.  Praise the Lord”  (Russ Taff)

When it is hard to put into words what I am feeling in my heart,  I am grateful that God reads my heart.  I don’t have to put it in words.  Sometimes the best communication with God is tears.  Tears are a language God understands.

  1. Often you wonder why tears come into your eyes
And burdens seem to be much more than you can bear
But God is standing near, He sees your falling tears
And tears are a language God understands.

God sees the tears of a brokenhearted soul
He sees your tears and hears them when they fall
God weeps along with man and He takes him by the hand
Tears are a language God understands.

When grief has left you low it causes tears to flow
When things have not turned out the way that you had planned
But God won’t forget you His promises are true
And tears are a language God understands.

God sees the tears of a brokenhearted soul
He sees your tears and hears them when they fall
God weeps along with man and He takes him by the hand
Tears are a language that my God He understands.

  3. Rose – Thank you for posting that poem. It is comforting to know that God understands and that poem spells it out in such a great way.

Babybloomr – that song has been used by God to see me through some very difficult trials. To get my eyes off the problem and praise Him – for in praising Him peace comes.
