Living Life in a Fish Bowl!

Gloria’s take on life.

in search of Spring

Spring, surely it is right around the corner.     It seems like it has been winter forever.

On March 19th hubby and I went in search of Spring.

It was a warm sunny day.

Spring fever was in the air.

First stop was this little park in a nearby town.  It specializes in trees and bushes.   Hmm, what is around the corner?

Spring is!!

Purple – the color of royalty.

The trees are budding.

The creek is flowing.  I am fascinated with the way it carves out its course.

Ah, spring!

March 20th – the official first day of Spring and this is what we woke up to.

Snow, snow and more snow.  The really great thing about this snow is that it will not last long.  Spring is on its way.  It is right around the corner.

til next time

  1. Today, the 21st, the sun is out, the snow is melted, and it is supposed to be sunny and in the fifties all week.

  2. Spring is a tease! Just when I do the clothes switch for the kids and start to see the buds…BAM! Cold weather again. Ugh. I think we are in for relief by the end of the week. I’m ready!

    • Sarah – that seems to happen to me each spring too. It isn’t so bad now that the boys are grown and so it is just my clothing that I switch.
