Living Life in a Fish Bowl!

Gloria’s take on life.

is it real?

Genuine faith

“So that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”  1 Peter 1:7 (NASB)

Gold may be valuable but our faith is so much more important than gold.

Testing is  ultimately a time of proving. Is our faith the  real deal?

When gold is put in the fire or we are put through a fiery test, there’s a separation of the dross. Purification takes place. The desired outcome is a purer form of gold or a life that examplifies Jesus.  May our lives bring glory, honor, and praise to Jesus.

Colton Dixon sings a song that resonates in my heart –  “Let them see You in me. Let them hear You when I speak…”

Genuine faith shows!

As we lean on, trust in, depend on, and hold fast to God, our faith grows with each opposition or affliction we face. For we know God has seen us through in the past and He will see us through this time.  Giving all the glory to God, we grow strong in our faith. (Romans 4:20)
