Living Life in a Fish Bowl!

Gloria’s take on life.

no turning back

I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.”  Psalm 81:10 (NKJV)

1. God is “I Am.” — all that you will ever need. (Exodus 3:14) Think about that for a moment.  All that you will ever need, God is!!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.” Proverbs 3:5-6

2.  Brought you out of Egypt –  my ‘Egypt’ was a path headed for destruction, a slave to sin, selfishness/self-centered, wrapped in bondage – God brought me out all of that.

“He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.” Psalm 40:2

3.  “fills my mouth” – I open my mouth wide, like a baby bird – ready and eager to receive, to devour the Word of God.  Submitting to God – giving Him my tongue – letting Him speak through me.

“And he has put a song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.” Psalm 40:3

I have no desire to go back to Egypt.

no turning back,

til next time
