Living Life in a Fish Bowl!

Gloria’s take on life.

an undivided heart

“My soul thirsts for God, for the living God;” (Psalm 42)

“As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.” 1 Chronicles 28:9 (NASB)

Serving God is a choice. Walking in the obedience is a choice. To do nothing is still a choice.

Is your heart divided? Do you want to serve God and still do things your way? When it comes down to it are you seeking after your own interests? (Philippians 2:21)

Serving God with your whole heart is giving God all of you. It will require commitment and sacrifice. It is being willing to do things God’s way.

He understands our intent even if/when others do not. He knows our heart. How refreshing that is when people question our motives. God knows.

When we seek Him, we find Him. He will not forsake those who seek Him. (Psalm 9:10)

“The Lord is good to those who wait for Him,
To the person who seeks Him.” Lamentations 3:25
