Living Life in a Fish Bowl!

Gloria’s take on life.

know and be known

I believe there is a thirst in us to be known – to be understood.

“I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.” John 10:14-15

To know and be known.

Today’s post is borrowed from a friend. Thank you Lisa!

{Sometimes it’s just nice to know that when too much is jumbling around in one’s head to say, God knows. He just knows. He knows what you mean. He knows what you can’t describe. He knows what you can’t find the words for.

He KNOWS and He cares and He’s there, like it or not, whether you can sense Him or not, He’s always there and I really don’t think ungraceful semantics are going to phase Him, (constantly having to remind myself of that) because He already knows and even though He already knows you can still go to Him with it, whatever “it” is.

He can handle it.}   (Lisa)

“Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help. Hebrews 4:14-16 (Msg)

Yes we can know and be known!

til next time
