Living Life in a Fish Bowl!

Gloria’s take on life.

continually

Sometimes your view of God can start to diminish. Sadly, you might not even be aware of it.

Does fear dominate your thoughts? Where is your focus? Where do you see God in this pandemic? What motivates you? Do you share the hope you have or the fear you have?

Could this pandemic get worse before it gets better? Yes, it could. Does that give us permission to live in fear or cause people to be afraid? Over and over (I’m told 365 times) in the Word of God it says to not fear, do not be afraid. God wants us to get this concept of not living in fear or being motivated by fear. (Matt 6:25-34)

What we magnify will enlarge. Are you magnifying God? Or covid19? You might not even be aware that you are focusing on the problem instead of the problem solver.
psalm 34

When fear tries to grip me, I remind myself that none of this has taken God by surprise. He does not change. He will see me through. He brings beauty out of ashes. The sooner I remind myself of these things, the better off I am.

There is a reason Psalm 34 starts this way:
“I will bless the Lord at all times;
    his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

Having trouble with fear or worry? Use your mouth to praise God – continually the Psalmist says!
