Living Life in a Fish Bowl!

Gloria’s take on life.

thirsty

Today was quite warm. I found myself thirsty, really thirsty.

“Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is THIRSTY, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of LIVING WATER’” (John 7:37-38 NASB)

This was the last day of the feast, people would be headed home maybe to never all join together again. We see that Jesus didn’t speak in a low voice or only to a few but He stood up and cried out. What He was about to say was important. He wanted to make sure everyone heard. This was His invitation to come.

“If anyone” shows that the invitation is to everyone. The invitation is still there today. Jesus is saying, “Come.”

When we come to Christ, we are changed from the inside out. From our inner most being will flow rivers of living water. Rivers of living water speaks of constancy, life, and abundance.

How are you becoming more like Christ? Lord, have Your way in me.   May others see Christ is us.

til next time
