Living Life in a Fish Bowl!

Gloria’s take on life.

put on love

Life is short. People will remember how you made them feel.

“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.” Col 3:14-15 (ESV)

Are you wearing love?

Things that can make a difference both for the person receiving and the person giving:
Be kind
Do more than the minimum
Compliment someone – sure maybe you don’t like that particular outfit but there are so many ways to compliment someone and thereby encourage them.
Go out of your way to help
Smile
See the good
Own up to your choices and don’t look to pass blame
Be intentional about allowing God to flow through you
Hug someone or give a firm handshake
Pray with someone
Don’t show favoritism

Sometimes the hardest people to love, need love the most.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:43-45 (ESV)
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”

Life is short. People will remember how you made them feel.
